The start.

We can now buy our
homes (and do our
paperwork) on site!

Markers are installed,
delineating roads and
home sites.

Walls appear.
Future residents
come to look at
lots.

Holes are dug
to connect to
underground
utilities and
drainage...

... and utility lines
are brought up to
ground level!

Frames are
laid, and
sidewalks
are poured.

Driveways
are laid out.
Also ready
for concrete!

Street are brought
up to the proper
level. Almost
ready for paving!

Another view
of the almost-
ready street.

You can see the
sales trailer on
the left. If I'm
correct, this is
25th Place.

Drain lines
are dug into
a home's
lot.

Next is framing.
Gee, we can
almost see the
outline of a home!

Steel reinforcing
rods are installed
where the concrete
will be poured.
(A feature I'm very
happy to see!)

You can see the
'post tension
rods' protruding
out the sides
here. This home's
just about ready
for concrete!

A poured slab.
Mohave model.

Ahh, the look of
fresh concrete..

Also, a close up of
a cool stamping!

'Certificate of
Acceptance'
means Lot 26
is ready for
pouring!

Outer edge 'view
fencing' is going in.
The beautiful desert
views are why we
all bought here!

12/24/06: Some
of the streets
are paved!

1/03/07: Framing
has started! This
is Lot#3, with a
view of Lot#1 in
the background.

1/03/07:Lot#1,
plan 4512,
elevation B,
Mohave model.
How cool is this?

1/09/07:Lot#3,
now a two story!
They're going up
fast!

Lot#1 (a Mohave)
looks like it's in
the lead. Much of
the wood framing
is done, even the
plywood roof and
walls.
Another visit to
lot #26 shows
they've started
framing there
too.

This is a view of
Electra Lane,
looking East.
Five homes went
up within 24
hours!
(Lots 6-10,
approximately.)

This is Dust Devil
Drive, also looking
East. Most of the
lots are either
newly dug up or
ready for concrete!
(Lots 62 to 72)

For example,
here's Lot 62.
The footings for
the patio cover
have just been
poured, and the
rest is ready!

Looking at 25th
Place, here's freshly
poured Lot 77. Many
of the other lots on
this street have their
foundations poured,
and are ready for
framing.

Indoor plumbing!
Here's the first tub,
ready for installation
in Lot #1. Copper
and plastic lines
were being installed
as this photo was
taken.
Cool!

Lot 3 on the left,
lots 6 through
10 on the right.

Lot 19 gets a roof.
Amazing to watch
them carrying 4x8
sheets of plywood
across the length of
a house!

Lot 1 gets some
plumbing...

Ductwork is
added to the
Mohave on
Lot 1.

As the sun sets
on a slab, the
home on Lot 62
begins...

I crossed the
'power line wash'
to see what was
happening on that
side. Here are lots
92 and 93 getting
prepped.

I walked back to
find a truck
spraying down the
dust on 25th Place.

Nice to see our
roads are graded
correctly. Notice
how all the water is
running towards
one of our 'water
retention areas'.

This photo was
taken around lots
101 to 105.
I'm looking east,
standing in the
middle of what will
one day be Desert
Peak Parkway.

Cool...

Lots 77 through 79.
77 is poured, 78 is
ready for pouring,
79 is still in the
'prep' stage.
The community's
coming along!

While on that side,
here's lot 101.

The homes along
Electra Lane (Lots
6 through 10).

This is lot 36.. a
'garage left'
Mohave model...
just like mine
will be!

Right next door,
lot 35 has fresh
concrete being
smoothed to
perfection.

... than the single
stories! Here's Lot 1,
with windows and
patio door installed,
and an outer wall of
styrofoam and chicken
wire being added.

Lot 3 is having
it's outer walls
constructed.
Two stories
takes a bit
longer...

Lot 19 gets tar paper
added to it's roof.
Window insulation is
already installed.
